The CBC Collection at Chesapeake Bay Candle review and giveaway

One of my biggest pet-peeves is a great smelling home. I want you to take a big breathe in and sign when you walk into my home. While we cannot afford a ten thousand dollar sitting room set to draw you in. I can however add a $20 filled candle from The CBC Collection at Chesapeake Bay Candle that will make you think you just walked into a lascivious resort and spa just by scent.

It is nearly mind boggling how something as simple as the Vanilla Bourbon Filled Candle being added to a guest bathroom can disperse a smell so amazing that it runs through the hallway leading up to that room without even being lit. Once it has been sent into a flame my world is completed with the sweet smell of vanilla and a hint of caramel. It is enough to make one fall asleep in a warm tub of bubbles.

Now the Bamboo Eucalyptus Filled Candle is another world entirely and I like to place this one in our mud room. As odd as that may seem it gives off a relaxing and sensual bamboo smell that reminds me of a spa in a five star resort. I have yet to light this one because it flows so well with my entry décor and adds a light scent to the room that I just adore. I am sure that when our next home hosting event arises I will find myself doing so to bring a more adult feel to the room but for now I am happy with it as an eye point on the sofa table.

Both of the filled candles are created with colored wax in a matching glass holder/vessel with Chesapeake Bay Candle’s distinctive suede finish. They are 9 ounces and burn time is 40 hours which for since I burn at around an hour each use that would give me 40 plus uses. I think that is great over what we previously used which tends to last for a max of 10 burns.

I am impressed with the quality of the filled candles from Chesapeake Bay Candle. They carry a lovely scent before burn and it continues on through the life of the candle. You get a great value and 40 hours of burn time. They also carry a very modern look in color, style and shape which is very important in my home décor design. Honestly I can’t to try more of their products.
